# Handover pack: how to use it

1. Copy `CLAUDE.md` and the `docs/` folder into the root of your local clone of
   `video-conferencing-module-backend` (GitLab).
2. Commit them on a branch, e.g. `feature/HEL-1044-skeleton`, so the whole team and Claude Code share the same context.
(They contain no secrets or live tokens.)
3. Open the repo in VS Code and start Claude Code. It reads `CLAUDE.md` automatically.
4. First prompt suggestion:
"Read CLAUDE.md, docs/WORKPLAN.md and docs/DECISIONS.md. Then start Step 0 (skeleton) of the work plan. Ask me before deciding anything listed as open."
5. Keep it current: when Jira decisions change, ask Claude Code to update `docs/DECISIONS.md` and `docs/STORIES.md`; tick tasks in `docs/WORKPLAN.md` as you go.

You can delete this file after copying.
